I have also discovered I love playing card games. I spend at least 3 hours every night down playing card games with my roommates. Dorm favorites include Nerts (multiplayer solitaire, that is extremely fastpaced), Aces Up (a one player game but ridiculiously addicted, Spoons (Cups), and Egyptian War (Egyptian Ratscrew, Egyptian Ratcatcher, and any other Egyptian variation of the name.)
As to my actually classes. I start my week of with Sociology and that class is pretty easy since it's basically a review of my high school sociology class. I still enjoy the class though and I got a hundred on my first quiz so that makes me happy. Then I go to History of Rock and Roll and this class is AMAZING!! It's so entertaining! We just finished learning about Elvis Presley. (this is my MWF schedule and I'm done with classes by noon, I so love this) Then on Tuesday, I start my day off with Honors Kin. this class is pretty cool, but it's still a health class so it does have it boring class. I then go to my English class which is amazing, Dr. Bell is an awesome teacher..... though the Iliad is kinda boring but I'm getting through it so it's all good. Then finally I end with my math class, this class makes me want to kill myself. I have gone from Calculus level math to pre-pre-algebra math. We aren't even doing math half the time, we are working on Set Theory and I think next week we move onto Logic, I will be so glad when this class is over and I can declare myself through with math forever. Though it is an easy A so that's a plus. (This is my TTh schedule and I done by 2.)
Though I love it here and love being independent there are definitely moments I miss home, but I do get on them. I honestly believe I've been waiting to be on my own for like 5 years and now that it's here I'm enjoying it to my full capabilities. I also miss my high school friends, though Amaitae is my roommate, I miss the craziness that the Seven Crazy Writers represented for 3 years!! I also miss having rps to write in in every class (sure would help get me through my math class.) I do miss my parents too, but like I said before I'm independent person so I've been doing great on my own.
Anyway this post is long enough as is it's 130 am and I really do need to go to sleep. I'm sure my entire dorm is asleep.

Live fully. Be happy. Wear bells.

There are stories of every life that must be told... it is the writer who has discovered the wings on which to write.

We are all haunted by our past to some extent. It's getting past that that makes us stronger.
Glad to see you here!
